Furthermore, we get our bodies back, perfected, at the Resurrection, no?
Plus, we are made in God’s image and likeness, no?
What’s God’s likeness?
God sits and Jesus stands. Jesus was bodily resurrected. Angels (God’s messengers) can be seen. Heaven is an actual location. Jacob embraced God, etc., etc., etc.
The Bible fully supports a physical body for God the Father, Jesus Christ and us. Please read it, plainly, and leave the eisegesis at home.
