My range has none of those bennys.

You bring your own skeet launcher and huck them across the river.

I never have shot skeet. It sure looks like a fun sport.

Thinking about getting a bipod for the 10/22.

Any suggestions?

If it works for you, don't mess with it. I had to get new grips cuz I melted the originals. Doh!

It all worked out. The walnut grips made the 82 much better for me. I have smallish hands, so rapid fire was an issue. The new grips made it a different gun. Your mileage may vary.

Yep. It fits my Uncle Mikes Super Slider quite well (same holster I use for my KelTec P11):

Harris makes nice stuff, but they are pricey

I do like those grips.

I think I’ve got holster envy!

Yes, for Saturday at the range, prolly about 2 or 3 oclock.

Everybody loved your cobbler last time. It was a hit!

If you can lay your hands on one of those, you are indeed a man of means. They're incredibly rare in spite of the fact that the US Government, with a little help from the General Motors Guide Lamp Division, manufactured thousands upon thousands of them.

A true piece of use it and lose it.

That is why none survive.
They were throw aways.

Why not just get a bench rest if it's not for hunting? ?

Those 82's are damned fine shooters, aren't they? I bought one on a lark about a year ago. Since then I've bought two more. They're the best value on the surplus pistol market right now.

You might want to compare the lips of the two magazines. I'll bet one of them is bent someplace, but ask mylife. He knows that pistol better than I do.

I'm convinced it's the polygonal barrels that make them so wicked accurate. If you get the chance to recover a fired bullet, take a good look at it compared to one fired through traditional rifling. I think you'll agree.

All I know is that I LOVE our 82's. Glad to meet someone else who appreciates a bit of fine Czech craftsmanship.

Best,

L

The belt is the key. The Super Tuck is just so dang comfortable that, after break-in, I walked out of my house, climbed in my truck and started to head out. Only to have turn around and go back. (We won't have CC here in Wisc. until Nov. 1)

.45 GAP uses a small pistol primer.

Winchester WinClean uses a small pistol primer in .45 ACP.

It is the best value on the surplus market.

The fixed barrel and the polygonal rifling combined with decent sights and excellent trigger pull make this thing a winner.

Yeah, some people think its underpowered(it’s not) and yeah the finish is on the cheap side, but the CZ 82 is a wonderfully engineered concealable high cap pistol for $200
