It is the best value on the surplus market.

The fixed barrel and the polygonal rifling combined with decent sights and excellent trigger pull make this thing a winner.

Yeah, some people think its underpowered(it’s not) and yeah the finish is on the cheap side, but the CZ 82 is a wonderfully engineered concealable high cap pistol for $200

The first time I fired mine I was absolutely stunned by how accurate these little pistols are. The trigger is beyond "good enough" IMO. Field stripping one is a breeze, even for a novice. I had my wife breaking it down and reassembling it in less than 10 minutes of instruction. And that was after I taught myself to do it watching a couple of YouTube videos.

And they eat absolutely anything. I've fired Silver Bear, Brown Bear, S & B, and Winchester without a single hiccup. Not one failure of any kind, with any ammunition. That's damned hard to beat.

It's ballistically equivalent to a .38 spl. By no definition is that underpowered, especially using modern bullets.

For around $200.00 delivered, IMO the CZ-82 is another one of those "Must Haves" for any freedom loving American family.

Nice chatting with you again.

Best,

L
