Sorry; even as a survivor of the ‘big C’; pink makes me see ‘red’.

It's not the color, it's the stupid looped ribbon I hate. I associate that with Political Correctness in general. It's just another attempt to herd us all into some kind of group think.

Am tired of the ribbon and all else that 'the pink' markets. The amount of pink now visible - that translates as 'cancer' is over the top. I see 'Company trucks' and so much more; now painted pink 'for the cause'.

Personally, think, if the very word 'cancer' was dropped from the airwaves for a year or two; if it's 'advertising' went silent altogether; the number of cases would drop. It is inserted way too often, into our public consciousness and creates not just 'awareness' but fear, which in turn, can invite 'the thing in itself'.

We 'get the message' 24/7 and can only say,'enough'!
