I’d say let’s look a lot closer at Santorum. He’s bright, speaks well, seems to have a lot of character, and he’s pleasant. Even a little charismatic.
We need a deeper bench now since Palin ... quit.
He is great on the social issues, but when he could support a real conservative he chose to support a party jumping liberal. He could not win re-election.
Well here you go [candidates conspire against him, Perry had "poor judgment" on a rock that wasn't his that was covered over, and Santorum steps in it about an insurance program he knows nothing about -- but when did that stop -- PLEASE love me again after shooting myself in the foot for endorsing Arlen Specter -- I'll say and do anything to win Santorum].
“Id say lets look a lot closer at Santorum.”
How about this; on the day that Perry, a decades long supporter of Israel, who visited Israel twice, met with Netenhahu, Shimom Perez and other business and political leaders, and received the Defender of Jerusalem award made a great speech to a Jewish group in NYC, Santorum, who clearly had no clue what he was talking about, had to whine about it...
There he is, reading a speech that Im sure he didnt write, and has never taken a position on any of this stuff before, and [the media is] taking this guy seriously.
No wonder Santorum lost by 20% last time he ran.
