Fast and Furious weapons were found in Mexico cartel enforcer's home

Reporting from Washington— High-powered assault weapons illegally purchased under the ATF's Fast and Furious program in Phoenix ended up in a home belonging to the purported top Sinaloa cartel enforcer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, whose organization was terrorizing that city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars.

In all, 100 assault weapons acquired under Fast and Furious were transported 350 miles from Phoenix to El Paso, making that West Texas city a central hub for gun traffickers. Forty of the weapons made it across the border and into the arsenal of Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo, a feared cartel leader in Ciudad Juarez, according to federal court records and trace documents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Two U.S. citizens — a mother and her son -— have been killed in the violence-plagued Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, authorities said.

Rosa Williams, 35, and her son, Pablo Noe, 19, were among four people who were killed by assailants armed with an AK-47 rifle and 9 mm pistol who opened fire on a blue 2004 Dodge Durango SUV in which they were riding, said Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for the prosecutor’s office in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.

In light of what we are now finding out, interesting reading from 2009. Did FnF start when the “90%” claims made by leading democrats were fact-checked by FOX as false?

Or was it already in play and ramped up to make the “90%” a true fact?

I checked to see if the LA Times had updated that story and they hadn't. It's the same 8:46 PM version from the 8th.

90% appears to have been a goal, not a fact, at the time the Washington Post reporters put their story together.

They were interviewing the exact same people who were in charge of Fast and Furious.

It is inescapable that the reporters had to know what was really going on. The only question is how big a hand the reporters and management at the Post had in the subsequent events ~ like, for example, did the reporters go down to Arizona to watch a gun sale, and then go with the straw buyer into Mexico. I think we need to know if they went through a regular crossing or went overland to evade ICE.

IIRC the 90% statement was true. What they left out was that only 15%+/- of the weapons recovered by Mexico were reported to the U.S. for tracking. So, the numbers were not actually false. The real question is, how did these weapons ever get into Mexico and from whom? Were they F & F guns?

Certainly nothing is new about all Democrats using the same talking points. They are all puppets of the party. They get their talking points in the morning and they all spout the same thing all that day.

No one thinks to check and see if any of them are true.

Fast & Furious is not Holders plan, This plan came down from on High-——Obama. Working under the Radar.
