North Carolina Republican congressional candidate Vernon Robinson denounced Texas Gov. Rick Perry's immigration stance outside, as his statement described it, "a Mexican Restaurant which hosts a $1000 a plate fundraiser for fatcats undoubtedly celebrating continued access to cheap drywall and other 7 million jobs held by illegals while 14 million Americans look for work."
"If Governor Perry's amnesty policy is adopted, it will mark the first time a Texan has surrendered to Mexico in 175 years," continued Robinson. Robinson called for using troops to secure the border, implementing e-Verify, cutting off welfare to illegal immigrants, an end to ballot printed in Spanish and other foreign languages, rescinding birthright citizenship, and restricting the jurisdiction of federal judges who stand in the way.

That’s gonna leave a mark.
Yep. Perry’s gonna need a bigger bandaid.
Only 7 million jobs held by illegals? I think Vernon is being a little modest. I think there are more illegals working then there are Americans who are unemployed.
I didn’t know that Robinson was running against Perry. I dislike these political hacks that can only run against someone else that has nothing to do with their election. He should stick to NC business.
Vernon Robinson for President!
BWahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha!
Too late. Perry has already announced his surrender.
No, I'm not going to post the links here.
ROFLOL, the man has a point.
I see a full court press by Romney/Cain to destroy Perry. We will see if it works.
That said, I see all his proposals except e-verify to be outstanding. I would vote for him if I could. I also notice he didn't mention a 2000 mile fence, which is a bonus too.
correction, I would vote for a real candidate who adopted his proposals. I have no idea how serious of a candidate this guy is but someone should adopt his proposals.
Too bad all the MONEY guys are dead set (pun?) on more and more illegals and thier cheap labor.
The rank and file members of the voting public—even RINOS and Dhimmocrats—are against them by a WIDE margin. Even a majority of the (legal) Hispanics (sic.).
Hey BC. The Federal Gov sets the immigration policy, not the states.
Perry is solidly on the books as being against illegal immigration.
We round em up down here in Texas everyday and hand them over to ICE
We have spent over 400 million of Texas Tax payer money covering the slack of the Fed on this matter. what has NC done?
All Perry can honestly be criticized for is how he deals with the problem of dealing with the illegals ICE refuses to deport.
I am sick of the disingenuous spin.
Next you’ll be telling me he said Mormonism is a cult.
Robinson called for using troops to secure the border, implementing e-Verify, cutting off welfare to illegal immigrants, an end to ballot printed in Spanish and other foreign languages, rescinding birthright citizenship, and restricting the jurisdiction of federal judges who stand in the way
Are you saying Perry is against those things?
Perry did it to himself. The moment he called people heartless for not supporting in-state tuition for the kids of illegals, he ended his political career outside of Texas. We don’t want “Bush 45”. Compassionate conservatism died with the last administration.
Ya gotta luv ol Vern!!!
Perry is against E verify.
His stance is that it is ineffective and only adds to regulation of business.
As far as anchor babies go you will have to get 2/3 of congress and the senate to rescind the national immigration act that passed into law 46 years ago by an 82% margin.
Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act, INS, Act of 1965, Pub. L. No. 89-236)[1] abolished the National Origins Formula that had been in place in the United States since the Immigration Act of 1924. It was proposed by United States Representative Emanuel Celler of New York, co-sponsored by United States Senator Philip Hart of Michigan and heavily supported by United States Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts.[2]
But, Perry did pass Voter Id here in Texas.
We are one of only 6 states to have done so.
Also we are being sued by the Feds for Perrys aggressive redistricting of voter precincts.
It seems illegal loving Perry is disenfranchising illegals and democraps.
