you’re desire to limit any actual discussion about perry is not indicative of a freedom loving person.
That's right. He tried the avuncular, approachable, middle-of-the-road thing, but the red-light revenue gimmick and the sanctuary-city policy (with dead policemen lying on the ground, killed by illegals) kinda spoiled the party.
The margin wasn't really close, and I don't think Perry was ever in trouble, once he dodged the potential humiliation and expense of a runoff.
I can't help it. It's attached to my smart brain (TM).
We got rain! Hallelujah!
Expect some smaller states to show gains going forward. In Texas, the oil business is doing well but isn’t that big an impactor on the total Texas economy, unlike the 1970’s; proportionally it’s much less as the rest of the economy has grown.
Agree totally. I was posting the info for a poster who had said Oil/Gas was the major reason for Texas growth but that isn’t the case as you noted. It helped but it is only a part.
Laugh all you want, Perry Spamist. He’s a laughable fraud from to top of his qwaffed hair to the tip of his boots.
Gov. Perry’s Letter to Obama Asks for Troops to Secure Border
Driftdriver lied that Perry did not support troops on the border.
Different personalities and backgrounds, same compassionate conservative statist b. S. They are much more alike than different.
Gov. Perry’s Letter to Obama Asks for Troops to Secure Border
Driftdriver lied and said Perry does not support troops on the border.
Why should Cincinatus’ Wife love posts that attack her personally and that attack the Governor with pure speculation about both their motives?
However, you still haven’t shown us where the Governor said that he doesn’t want troops on the border - especially not in one of his debates, as you claimed.
Last year Gov. Rick Perry asked the federal government for 3,000 extra border patrol officers, 1,000 National Guard troops and aerial drones, like those used in Arizona, to counter escalating border violence in Texas. The feds upped the number of border patrol officers but did not grant Perrys requests for more aerial security or National Guard troops.
Funny you should mention “Perry” and “cloth” in the same sentence.
I duuno why-—but everytime I see Perry, I picture him in a loincloth, swinging from the trees.
I betcha he’s really good at that Tarzan jungle call, too.
Maybe it’ll come up in the next debate.
Personal attacks eh? Liar
Funny how you ignore his call to send troops into mexico.
His refusal to support a fence.
His support for illegal immigrants getting discounted college educations. Discounts he won’t give American citizens from other states.
His calling anyone who supports enforcement of immigration laws as heartless and implies they are racist because they choose based on the peoples last name.
Funny how you ignore all that.
Again, where’s your source for the lie that the Governor ever said he didn’t want troops on the border?
BTW here’s one story - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1696866/posts
Where Perry’s office refuses to support a plan to put a meaningful amount of troops on the border.
Sure Perry calls on Obama to put troops on the border, when Perry knows Obama won’t do it.
Then there is this one - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1696866/posts where he supports illegals getting to stay and keep the jobs they have taken from Americans.
“Thats why I support a guest worker program that takes undocumented workers off the black market and legitimizes their economic contributions without providing them citizenship status. “
So he “says” he supports a secure border but blocks any realistic attempts to secure it. All while supporting illegals and racist organizations like La Raza.
Just posted them skippy. Keep ignoring all the other red flags about this open border loving RINO.
Gov. Perry’s Letter to Obama Asks for Troops to Secure Border
Driftdiver’s own words this very day: “Perry supports sending troops to Mexico but not to the border”
Cmon rangerette, get a clue. he supports a thousand troops who aren’t even at the border, but sitting in offices. But refuses to send a realistic number of troops to the actual border.
Why? Because he doesn’t want a secure border.
SPOT ON!
I am proud to be from Pennsylvania. The operative word is, of course, from. Although I was conceived in Texas (and since life begins at conception, I'm a native Texas in that sense), circumstances were such that I was delivered in Pittsburgh and spent my childhood there.
The vice-grip of the DemonRAT machine on Pittsburgh Allegheny County politics (Lawrence, Barr, Scully -- a motley group dating back to 1934) along with the tight control of big labor thugs rendered "America's Most Livable City" unlivable for this right-to-work Conservative. There are some pockets of sanity in Butler and Westmoreland County but the core is absolutely corrupt.
That said, the one thing I'll give Western Pennsylvania is the fact that you never hear Spanish spoken there. All of the fast food places and convenience stores have staff speaking English (albeit with the distinctive Yinzer accent). After nearly 40 years of being here in Texas, that's the only thing where the Keystone State trumps the Lone Star State IMHO.
