All done except the peppers which just never quit. I imagine it’ll have to frost hard to slow them down ... the dehydrator runs 24/7 and my fridge is full. It’s nuts, next year I may skip peppers altogether - I’ve got canned, frozen and dried habinaros, jalapeños, cayennes, savannas and cubanelles to last into the millennium.
I made several gallons of pear butter last weekend (made my first no sugar batch for my pastor using Stevia) and thought I was all done, but, my neighbor told me today to harvest his tree so they don’t go to waste ... and his tree is larger than mine! I’ll probably just can ‘em and make butter later, but I want to dehydrate some for Nyte who wants to try pear chips, lol.
My goodness gracious...the things you have learned about “farming”. Good for you!!
