How old do you think that dweeb is? I guess you can be in debt no matter how young and stupid you are. In the past, there were some limits in place that kept dumb-ass kids from getting credit cards and running them up. Not anymore.
Most likely, if he really is in debt, it's student loan debt. In terms of age - a substantial majority of the "individuals" there appear to be middle-class, college-educated, and mostly white. To me, the most telling contrast is illustrated by images like this one:
While these lazy, spoiled, coddled middle to upper middle class, college educated cry babies whinge on and on incoherently about how bad they have it - while surfing the 'net on $2k, plus Apple notebooks - this guy, an immigrant with a very heavy accent is out there working hard at the only job he could find trying to make a better life for himself (when I took the pic, I noticed that he held himself with a degree of self-respect and dignity you don't see from the pampered crybabies right next to him).
This guy came here from someplace else in the world to do better for himself, and even this lowly job is probably better than what he had where he came from; strong evidence that the OccupyWallStreet crybabies are simply wrong about the United States, its values, and its relationship to the rest of the world.
Speaking of the anti-capitalist "protestors" claiming poverty and spouting anti-corporate nonsense, here's a cute pic of two of them sitting inside McDonalds - that evil multinational corporation - enjoying the goods sold therein, and surfing the net on a $2k plus Apple notebook using the wi-fi service this McDonalds provides to its customers for no additional charge:

The hypocrisy is staggering. Funny, hypocrisy is the cardinal liberal sin. It is always the first thing they accuse anyone of when they are trying to tear them down.
Then you get these scumbags who drive cars, burn fuel, live in modern, well equipped houses with Internet access, hot showers, 60" LCD televisions and a fridge full of food, and they want to tear it all down.
These spoiled rats don't have any idea what hunger, need, injustice or oppression really means. This just burns me to the bone.
THESE PEOPLE TAKE EVERY DAMNED PRIVILEGE, RIGHT AND MATERIAL GOOD FOR GRANTED.
Liberals think money grows on trees. They really do. They have no idea, none whatsoever what drives an economy.
I really have to stop. I am getting angrier and angrier as I write.
Good thread, by the way. Thanks for starting it...

This protest is really all about student loans. Sean Hannity and Michael Medved have been interviewing them - and that’s what it is about.
My next door neighbor’s cousin (who briefly lived in their house) came from Algeria about two years ago. She could only speak Arabic and French. She took a really lowly job at our local A&P supermarket. I’d occasionally give this lovely young lady a ride home after a long day. Her English was coming along.
One day she moved out of her relatives’ home and is living in a tiny apartment two towns over. Next, she owns a run-down little car. Next, her English is fluid.
Now she’s the MANAGER of the A&P! I walked past her and she was being photographed with “her guys” - her employees. She had the most beautiful smile on her face.
Now, that’s MY America. Not these wicked knot-heads destroying lower Manhattan.
Sorry for the rant.
