1. Ad hominem attack, generally resorted to when you know you are wrong.
2. You've attempted to wiggle out of this several times, but what you showed was simply that you either didn't understand what you were reading, or chose to take a dishonest shortcut instead of making a cogent argument based on what was really there.
Removing the "neither... nor" reversed the meaning of the quote.
