The anti-Palin left has only succeeded in doing one thing--they have replaced a fallible (though quite impressive) human being by installing infallible principles in her place.

All of you leftists, or "no labels" types, or those of you who are simply following the crowd and don't know why. You have accomplished one thing in your war against Sarah Palin.

You have ensured that the principles she stood for will now be the weapon of your own political destruction.

Palin is gone from the presidential race, but our traditionally held principles which she has echoed are now the living embodiment of Sarah Palin.

The anti-Palin left has succeeded in replacing Palin with that which she and all of us always said was the most important anyway—the principles of our Constitution.

I offer an honest suggestion:

Let’s stop talking about Palin.

We face very real problems.
Focus people.

The starting point of this discussion is the fact that the principles are infallible.

So anyone who is opposed to the God given rights to small government, moral accountability, individual liberty and self sufficiency—here’s your chance to explain why you oppose them.

I love the principles but I do not worship at the altar of Sarah. She is not a martyr, she's a wealthy candidate who could never quite gain traction with the majority of the population.

Now,you can blame the liberal media for that and you may be partially right, but she's been controversial from the outset and even many conservatives just never warmed up to her. Let's not deify her just yet.

Please, Sarah, JUST GO AWAY.

I’m still hurting from your jilt.

Conservative ideals predate Palin and will survive her exit from the campaign.

Now, leave her alone and move on. It's bordering on OCD.

I might say I agree with you, but I would be misrepresenting by so doing. What you’ve said is immaterial to being agreed with or disagreed with.

Likewise although I might say I agree with you that one plus one is two, but that is a form of misrepresentation of the same sort. Whether one plus one is two is not true or just because you say so, or that I agree with you. It’s just true, no matter who says anything about it.

Same way with what you said about the situation with Palin and many, many. similar happenings throughout human history.

It’s a truth of human reaction.

The Left saw Sarah Palin as a target--and swarmed her.

They fired all their arrows at her.

Yet they missed us.

The Left slanders and libels the Tea Party at every turn.

Yet we principled American conservatives took back the House in 2010, and will take back the Senate and White House in 2012.

Alinsky coaches isolate and demonize.

The Left will attempt to do this with every conservative candidate and organization.

Today Rush said the Left envies the Tea Party.

When Obama is landslide defeated, the Left will have no one to blame.

Millions of principled American conservatives, without organizational trappings, and absent the most hated figure in the panoply of Leftist enemies--

--"tell them it came from Shangri-La."

You said at opening, excerpted per that which I found a wise observation:
The anti-Palin [forces have] only succeeded in doing one thing--they have replaced a fallible (though quite impressive) human being by installing infallible principles in her place.

The anti-Palin [forces have] succeeded in replacing Palin with that which she and all of us always said was the most important anyway—the principles of our Constitution.

To which I replied at 38:
What you said about the situation with Palin and many, many. similar happenings throughout human history.

It’s a truth of human reaction.

Reagan had a famous motto of a similar observation:
"There is no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit." — First Inaugural Address, January 21, 1981
I noted it made no sense to agree with your observation, as it expressed a natural human dynamic as real and sure as the fall of an apple from a tree. That is, as a truth, it's not subject to being part of a popularity contest.
