As soon as the story broke and they said someone climbed in through a window in the middle of the night I thought to myself “Uh huh, how many times have we heard this one”. Poor child, I hope she is found okay.
Heard a report (media), though haven’t read anywhere, the front door was unlocked during the time the mother put the child down till the father came in (from work) and found the front door unlocked. If (heard) report is accurate front door was unlocked for a five (plus) hour period. Damage from window entry would be obvious. There should be someone who noticed window damage (if was prior) to child having gone missing (possibly). Speculating on my part. Have not followed this case closely. Praying the child is found safe.
The only cases I can think of are the ones in which that actually happened - although the girls were older than an infant (Polly Klaas...)
