I’ve repented for my snarky comment. I can’t watch O’Donnell and his ilk, just don’t have the stomach for it, but I sincerely appreciate sickoflibs for posting the Cain videos last night.
Cain is an experienced executive who is comfortable dealing with fools, and this interview showed that.

That’s cool. I used to watch MSNBC but even I couldn’t stomach their idioacy any longer.
And judging by their ratings, very few others can as well.....

Ummm, a reporter for CBS news asked a tough question about Fast and Furious of some folks at the White House and got yelled at. CBS appears to have pulled her from the story. I don't know about you - but I have NEVER seen a liberal reporter ask a tough question of a democrat.
Never.

NEVER seen a liberal reporter ask a tough question of a democrat. so you would prefer to have candidates get lobbed softballs til after the nomination, only to find out that they cant think on their feet and are unable to articulate their positions/opinions ???
vigorous smackdowns of assclowns like odonnel are necessary and entertaining...

” Sam would try to trip up the Gipper at every opportunity. At presser sure. But often on the sidelines when RR would get on Air Force 1. And Mr. Reagan would answer same in a very polite way, and often with humor rip Sam a new one.”
At Reagans birthday party, someone gave Sam Donaldson the first piece....
Sam: “ I really shouldn’t take the first piece.....some might think I sold out “
Reagan : “ Aw come on, Sam....you sold out for a lot less than that years ago “
Verbatim transcript : )

I have come to the conclusion that FNC is the Republican party channel and MSNBC is the Democrat channel. That being said FNC Special Report with Brett Baur (who I think does a great job) had the best material from Democrats: Solyndra and Fast and Furious. MSNBC has nothing like that to work with, they miss Bush.
About your challenge, yes and I made a point of it here when David Gregory had an Obama person on and confronted him with the Obama record, the chart showed unemployment, gas prices, etc now compared to when Obama took office and asked:” Is that the record you are going to run? Everything has gotten worse”, when the Democrat responded Gregory followed up with : “The American people sure dont buy that”. It was classic. So you never know. If you depend on Rush or Levin you would believe that that he would NEVER do that.

Yep... I hear ya buddy. I know I risk taking a ration of crap from others for saying this, but at this time I've decided that me and mine will support Cain. If the GOP doesn't put him on the primary ballot, we'll pencil him in at the 2012 elections. If the GOP propels their chosen RINOs to the forefront this time, they'll do so at their own peril, and the peril of the Republic.
The last time we supported a RINO was the last time indeed.

Obviously Obama got lobbed a few softballs - no one knew (until after he was elected )that he couldn’t speak without a teleprompter...

So what else is new, right? Haha!
Yeah, I’m pretty much firmly in Herman’s camp too. Very sad Sarah isn’t running, though. Her decision, though, and it probably wasn’t an easy one to make. Just “feels” like they wore her down, though. Probably isn’t true, but it just feels that way.
I really, really loathe those people on the left...completely.

Personally, I’d like to see a REAL “smackdown” of O’Donnel and his ilk.
Like a giant, meaty conservative fist upside their stupid faces...but that’s just me.

One of the best things about this is I now know that Herman Cain will not be picking Scott McClellan as his press secretary.

Yeah... I'm also disappointed that Palin bowed out. I respect her decision though.
I can't emphasize enough how the GOP needs to be very, very careful this cycle. It's going to be bad enough IF they take control and begin the repair process. If they don't properly ascertain their support base, I think it's a given that they'll suffer defeat due to simple attrition. Because at this point, I'm supporting Cain, and I personally don't care who they support. I don't think I'm alone in saying this. I'm just one of a very few who will say it.

RE :”
I just mean, neither Cain nor any conservative can hope to harvest votes from MSNBCs far-left evening audience. He may as well go on Rachel Maddows show in search of votes.”
I think you are missing the racial aspect. Many Blacks watch MSNBC, at least I know of a number in Maryland do, some I see at the gym watching it. These same ones rip FNC for being biased and anti-Obama as MSNBC tells them Republicans HATE blacks and hispanics. So now we got a White (Government Democrat ) Liberal trying to tell the hard working accomplished self-made Cain that he was a coward for not protesting as a teen instead of going to school to be a success and positive role model, all while a number of blacks were watching. This had to cause some internal conflicts.
To prove my point, The next evening Friday O Donnell brought on the master Obama Koolaid Drinker and Supreme liberal judge at racial grievance mongering Al Sharpton on to give O Donnell his blessing for the attacks, to try to ease black viewers conscience.
Race-victim monger Al Sharton critical of Herman Cain defending O Donnells smears, O Donnell has really gone off the deep end using Sharpton as a liberal black role model.

The whacky libs are out in droves in attack mode with their talking points designed to denigrate Mr. Cain. A lot of them are posing as Conservatives trying to divide Cain's supporters. Here is a summation of the dim's talking points:
- Is a coward because he attended college instead of dropping out and marching in the Civil Rights marches.
- Is a coward because he attended college instead of dropping out and serviing in Viet Nam
- Isn't conservative because he once served as an executive for the Kansas City Federal Reserve
- He couldn't have achieved such success unless he received help in the form of affirmative action.
- He's an Uncle Tom because he's Conservative and want to deny blacks the same opportunities for success that he took advantage of..

“The fact that Cain has the guts and smarts to stand up to a raging lib like LOD rather than hide on a safe place like FNC tells me he has what it takes to be a real leader.”
Totally agree.
