Sarah Palin stated several months ago that she would not run IF a truly credible Conservative candidate got into the race. So, I assume a truly credible Conservative candidate finally got into the race.
I got the impression that Perry wasn’t the one she wanted, so I have to guess that Herman Cain might possibly be one that she would endorse.

I happened to catch it live, and what I saw was three perplexed people - a pencil-necked geek, a prune-faced sourpuss, and an old political hack/hitman pretnding to be an intellectual - trying to put their spin on the decision to make the object of their derision look as bad as possible. But, that’s their job.
