Steve Jobs Changed the World: Adoption Changed His
The news hit me in the gut. I couldnt believe I was seeing those few numbers, communicating his passing, beneath his photo: 1955-2011. Steve Jobs has, literally, changed the world.

LIFE matters !
He would of killed Him
Too bad Steve ignored and even denounced his own daughter for years. He even lied claimed in court that he was sterile and couldn’t have a child. Imagine her feelings.
They reconciled.
Apparently she’s set for life.
To think of the millions of jobs that this man and Bill Gates created by their sweat is amazing . . . the government can't create jobs . . .
That is meaningless. He perjured himself to avoid chuld support payments when he was a millionaire. Disgusting.
ah, one of the “no redemption no forgiveness “ crowd, I see
Apparently she lived with him as a teen, had a good relationship with his sister, her aunt Mona, graduated from Harvard and has enjoyed a leisurely life as a European based writer, knowing she was accepted as his child
could have been worse
Could be Warren Buffet’s kid who has been put on notice she is disinherited
So? That doesn’t change what an ass he was for doing so in the first place. He had millions of dollars at the time and still refused to accept his responsibilities. It takes a real jackass to tell a child to piss off.
sorry, that would be Buffets grandaughter, adopted
Terminated from the family, with extreme prejudice, for participating in a documentary about the rich that pretty much says the same things as Barry Obama
but - ultimately, he changed his heart and became a father to his child. So what kind of jackass repents and makes it all right? A humam being?
At least she forgave him- enough to take his name and his money
??? Tell it to Buffet?
I have two adopted children
A child does not have to be Steve Jobs to be a living miracle
I am not a Catholic so I don’t believe in “Repent and all is forgiven.” If that were the case then we wouldn’t need any jails, all the criminals would repent.
Steve Jobs deserved jail time for lying in court and failing to provide child support. If he tried that in this age he would have. His daughter only lived with him a few years in her final teenage years, living on welfare the rest of the time. What a guy.
Repent doesn't just mean you're sorry. It means you CHANGE, also, and never do those rotten things you did before.
Did she become a CONSERVATIVE -- is that why Warren disinherited?
Did Steve Jobs mother ever really consider having an abortion?
What I've read didn't say, and if we get the story because his unmarried mother might have had an abortion, then maybe people are stretching it too much. That might have could be applied to every living person.
Remembering that Ill be dead soon is the most important tool Ive ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life. Because almost everything all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.
No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven dont want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it. And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Lifes change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true.
Your time is limited, so dont waste it living someone elses life. Dont be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other peoples thinking. Dont let the noise of others opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
***Did Steve Jobs mother ever really consider having an abortion?***
1950’s??? probably not - or it would have been illegal/back alley. More stigma then.
Bio mother has a story to tell - hope she does. Watch for a book or movie.
His denial of his bio child is disturbing - wonder how his learning that he was adopted colored his parental instincts. Lots of ‘stories’ here.
It’s a good story about adoption and success regardless, but some are trying to play the “she didn’t have an abortion” angle too much unless it’s known that she actually considered it.
