Disagree. Now was her most opportune time. With her announcement tonight, she likely just ended her political career.

As for being an influential voice, I agree with “I see my hands”. I think much of her appeal will now dissipate.

I'm not really concerned for Palin personally. She has made tons of money and could now quietly go back to Alaska to live.

What I'm very concerned about is the Tea Party. Whether I like it or not, the unofficial leader has basically quit, leaving the entire movement vulnerable to the attacks of the Left and the Republican establishment.

While I'm sure the Republican candidates are now breathing a sigh of relief, I suspect an actual celebration is happening tonight at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Indeed. Screw Palin. Think I’ll ever listen to her again? No. She just confirmed everything the Dem’s have been saying since she left her office as Governor. She’s nothing but a big mouth and a quitter.

Yeah, Palin, you certainly ran an “unconventional” campaign. How much longer would you have strung your supporters along if some states hadn’t pushed up their primaries?

Where’s that picture of her winking? I guess that was directed at her supporters. Suckers.

Whom did you mean this post for? Surely it can't be me,as we are in complete agreement.

Palin is over, done, finished politically and influencewise and she needs to realize that.

I hate to tell you this, but tonight you are not being rational. SP can really get down in the trenches now, and she will be in huge demand. I am not sure if you are aware of this, but the Palin phone is ringing off the hook with Candidates looking for her to endorse them.

There are people that are not pleased with this group of candidates, and there could be a bloodbath at the convention. Food for thought.

It is a weight off her shoulders, and she will have time to regroup and settle scores. Yeh! Can we say Palin House, not Random House?

Brilliant move on her part, rather: the Alinskyites now no longer have a target to aim at in order to "discredit" the Tea Party.

Cheers!
