Sarah Palin Will Not Run for President
ABC News ^ | October 5, 2011 | Polson Kanneth

Sarah Palin will not run for president. She made the announcement in a letter to supporters Wednesday night.

Read Palin’s letter here:

October 5, 2011 Wasilla, Alaska After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.

My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law....

In the coming weeks I will help coordinate strategies to assist in replacing the President, re-taking the Senate, and maintaining the House.

Good!

Disappointment of course...but most of Palins fans have already determined another candidate just in case she didn’t run...and it sure won’t be Romney!

“Cain for me, unless I get convinced otherwise.”

Except for the 9% sales tax he sounds pretty good to me too

Disappointed too. :(

Looks like it’s Cain then for me.

Or Cain. Or she just stays out to see how things settle out.

I’m sure there will be candidates asking her for her endorsement.

She said she wouldn’t be “seeking”, not that she would turn down a draft. (Just throwing a life preserver to the Palinistas ;-)

America and our effort to reclaim America from a bunch of communists has NOT lost Sarah. In the coming year, she will play an extremely important role in support of the Repub candidate, in support of keeping the focus on American values and the real American agenda as well as the focus on America’s internal and external enemies.

She is nothing but a class act and a TRUE American patriot.
Our Constitutional Republic needs her, and more like her. She remains a very important American.

I think that will be worse than the gloating, people pestering Palin supporters about who they support now.

I agree. Quite tacky.

Quite frankly...I feel like a fool!

Probably my fault...but a fool is what I feel like. Maybe it's time to bury my head in the back in the sand and regroup. I am actually heartbroken. Sarah should not have let us linger so long, expressing our faith that she would come in. She was following this site, as well as her own.

Family reasons is a good fall back, but it will take a while for me to forgive myself for being so stupid!

Sarah Palin is a great Kingmaker. She has the sense to realize that she can be more useful to the conservative cause in that capacity, and still take care of her family.

My respect for the Governor just went up several notches.

Whichever one the polls show can beat the Marxist Halfrican. I’m miffed at Sarah, she shouldn’t have left everyone hanging for so long. I imagine she is finished with politics forever. Now she pissed off her fans, what a shame.

Come on, it is deserved after all the abuse us non haters that knew she was not serious, took.

Sad part is how many real conservatives were trashed in the process.
