It could be the end of FR, though, since it seemed in another thread that you posted you actually have more reasons to defeat Mittens than you have reasons to defeat Obama. As an ideologue, I agree, but in terms of reality, that's a very bold stance to take, which is admirable.

You've had mods banning Perry posters for trying to defend him against ridiculous smears. If Palin isn't running, and if Perry is persona non grata at FR, then it's Cain or nothing, isn't it? I'm for Perry. Cain is not qualified. He will not be the nominee.
It will be Perry, Gingrich, or Romney. If conservatives do not unite to support Perry or Gingrich it will be Romney. All this inane babble about Cain is a step further than the Palin fantasy. At least Sarah was qualified by two and a half years as Governor. If Romney is the nominee folks here need look no further than the mirror to know they did not unite around a qualified, albeit imperfect, conservative candidate. Sarah has done more than anyone has a right to demand of her. I don't think she would have won but I would have supported her campaign. The only candidates left with the gravitas to win as President are Perry, Gingrich, and (unfortunately) Romney. If only Rick Santorum could have held his Senate seat ... If only Michelle Bachmann had more political common sense not to attack other Republicans ... Perry and Gingrich are the only two I would support; although I will vote for the Republican nominee against Obama, whoever it is because I am not a Republican In Name Only.
