Having the most dedicated heterosexual in the white house is not going to make the US electorate any less gay than it already is. There’s no hope for the press and the press, and you can put it in the bank that they want this fight to be the central issue in 2012. The DADT battle is going to be played out in the courts or in congress if it’s not a dead issue anywhere but in the basement of the pentagon. I’m 100000x more worried about the economy and the national debt.
Don’t minimize the way the repeal of DADT demoralizes our military and make it less effective.
Strawperson? The “gay” population is tiny. They scream at a volume greatly out of proportion to their size, aided by liberals who will swallow anything crazy.
So candidates should just ignore this question when a Leftist media figure ask them it? Like it or not, these questions are going to be asked of any GOP nominee. They are going to have to answer it. Cain did a fine job addressing it without letting it side track him off message. He is running for President of the USA, not President of the Conservative website clue. Any candidate had better know how to address these sorts of questions.
the homo agenda should be front and center as the majority do not want their agenda and states which have voted have shown they do not want the queer agenda either.
It is about time we raised conservative social issues instead of being cowardly.
I guarantee the left or most of them do not want to talk about don’t ask, homosexual marriage, them getting kids or even cross dressers as we all know when we vote on these issues the left always looses.
