I had the same question. But he held his ground and had the witches cackling, so it’s all good.
He is running for President of the United States. Not for President of the Conservative website club.
Like it or not, candidates need to go on these shows too, not just preach to the choir.
He’s hoping to reach those that some conservatives deem to be unreachable. In his case, it isn’t a bad idea.
Not insane, brilliant. This way he gets to speak to the "mushy minded" who watch the show. One only has to plant a seed.
