Corporal Hitler's job in the Freikorps, post WW1, was to help keep records on labor parties. He worked under one Captain Ernst Rohm. One of the parties he kept tabs on was the National Socialists, a bunch of laborers more interested in drinking beer than working. When Adolf got booted from the military...something that troubled him deeply...he essentially took over the Nazi Party with his knack for oration. Rohm went on to head the SA, an organization originally formed to provide security for Hitler's street-corner rants.
