California Quarry Shooting: Two Dead, Four Wounded

Two people are dead and four have been injured at a shooting at a quarry in northern California early this morning, officials and witnesses said.

An employee arrived at meeting at Hanson Permanente quarry in Cupertino with an automatic rifle and opened fire. The shooter may still be on the loose.

One of them directed a very good video about fathers not abandoning their babies, perhaps the son. Prayers for the victims, their loved ones, the police and the medical staff involved.

Three long-time friends of shooting suspect Shareef Allman asked Allman to surrender to authorities and pledged their support to help end the manhunt peacefully. The three are Walter Wilson, a community activist; Jethro Moore, local head of the NAACP; and Pastor Lee Wilson, of the South Bay Christian Ministers’ Union.

Have seen one report where the perp was talking to police via police frequency early as the chase began. Do not know if report is correct. Have found no confirmation.
