Hmmm... The Second Amendment addresses "arms". It does not specify "
firearms".
I suppose the argument could be made that it would be easier to get away with stabbing someone in a parade crowd -- as opposed to shooting them. However, I don't think this discrimination will stand up to Constitutional scrutiny...

“arms” is “arms”, meaning what you can carry.
The same non-prohibition should apply to swords as well.
