IMO, if she was really planning to run, she should have announced by late last month.

Why? So she could play demolition derby with the rest of the early entrants, who are all now bashed, smashed, and crashed? So she could participate in the MSM inquisitions, otherwise known as "debates"? So that she could satisfy the demands of the left and the RINO establishment that she "get in, or get out"?

She's still got nearly a month left before the first filing date. What's your reasoning for saying that she should have declared last month?

“What’s your reasoning for saying that she should have declared last month?”

Well, mainly cause the longer she waits, the more GOP voters will be inclined to get behind other candidates like Cain. I know it’s early, but GOP voters seem more engaged than I’ve seen in a long time. Look how much the debates have affected the fortunes of the candidates?

In past cycles, debates this early were hardly watched by anyone except political junkies like us. The Perry campaign clearly miscalculated on this point and didn’t think it was necessary to do much debate prep. I’m sure they’re wishing they could have that decision over.

My point being that GOP primary voters are more into it at an earlier time than ever before, and they are looking to end the uncertainty ASAP and get behind a candidate. I just think it would have been helpful for Sarah to be around by late last month so she could get her campaign going.

Look-you can check my past posts, I’ve been around here for quite a few years and I’ve never trashed Sarah on any of these threads. I’m just simply “suggesting” that it might have been a good idea for her to get in by now. I hope I’m wrong. In fact, I’d love to be wrong and for her to get in this month and steamroll over the rest of the candidates. She’d be my first choice if she was in.
