Group Releases Video Documenting Mitt Romney's Liberal Positions

The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama today released a new web video which catches Mitt Romney, in his own words, espousing liberal views on almost every single major issue facing Americans today.

"Mitt Romney has always been an establishment politician more comfortable with the liberal policy positions of his friends in the press and the political elite. We can do better than that for the next Republican nominee for president. For the good of our nation, we must do better," said Lloyd Marcus, Chairman of The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama.

The reason I don’t believe in the hourly polls we’re bombarded with can be stated in one word: Romney. How he can be the frontrunner is beyond my belief.

Well said. I haven't believed the polls about Romney being a front runner for some time now. I've seen absolutely NO evidence of a groundswell of support for him anywhere outside of the MSM.

I see lots of folks cheer leading for other candidates on Facebook, but I've never seen a single such post supporting Romney. Everything about this guy is like something produced by Madison Avenue. There's no real Romney, and there's no real Romney campaign. It's a lot of expensive smoke and mirrors.

So here's the deal - we are going to be launching TV and radio ads in the early primary states to get the word out. Our first step is this simple web video of Romney in his own words.

I can tell you that while to you and I - and most FReepers - it is obvious, there are MANY rank-and-file conservatives who don't even have the full knowledge base of just how bad Romney has been.

We saw this in 2010. Good Republicans would gravitate towards the media-annoited & celebrated candidates. Once some $$$ went into TV ads, radio ads and mailers showing their record, and suddenly the polls moved and constitutionalist conservative candidates surged in the polls, often time winning.

We are trying to do this again at the presidential level.

Exactly, Windflier. It really is shocking how many Republicans AND conservatives don't fully understand how many issues that Mitt has played the Liberal position on.

Impeach98, I think that all the tea party conservatives, conservatives and most Republicans know the truth. It's the people in the ‘middle’ that need to get educated and learn the truth about Romney, Paul (the freak), and Perry.

You are not correct about Perry. He is a staunch conservative and has proved numerous times over the past 10 years as Governor. I voted for Perry previously and will again. If you are not from TX, then you don’t know the truth about Perry.

Just because a person isn't from Texas, they CAN'T know about Perry?? I do alot of reading and research about all candidates, probably more than most people. I don't understand how people like you are think you know more than anyone else about Romney. If Romney were to get elected, God help us all. He will just be another Obama, maybe not so bad. If Romney was the person picked to go against Obama, of course I would vote for him. No single candidate is perfect for the job but some are better than others. In my opinion, Romney isn't qualified to become president. You may dismiss my opinion but that's your way.

Romney is the biggest flip-flopper among our candidates. Other than that he has good hair.

You would truly be surprised at how many tea party activists and conservative Republicans who are fighting us because of our Stop Mitt Romney campaign.

Their argument is that Romney polls the best against Obama and therefore we should back him.

We've pointed out how the polls keep changing, just look at how many different poll surges that have taken place for the GOP nomination fight before a single vote has been cast.

We even have been told by conservatives and GOPers who should know better that we have to nominate a moderate who can appeal to Independent voters and conservative Democrats if we want to win and that man is Mitt Romney.

So frustrating. But we have to fight back. We have to do what Rush Limbaugh has said before and know that conservative principles are not only righteous, but they are winning issues and we should champion them proudly.

And now we must champion those candidates who are best able to advocate for conservative principles as GOP nominee for president.

Impeach98, I couldn't agree with you more. Like you stated, Rush has said we need to conservative. He has also stated it's easy to be a liberal and tough to be a conservative. Liberals and the media, all in one, have a different standard than the conservatives. I can use a statement that if I remember correctly, President Bush said. To beat the Muslim fanatics, we must be right EVERY TIME while they need to be right only ONCE.
I believe Romney is just a white Obama. ( I heard that on Rush's program). I would love to see Bachmann and/or Cain win the nomination and physical kick Obama out of the Oval Office. When Obama goes down, Soros is no longer in control of either his puppet, Obama, thus not being in control of the country.
