I know Perrys not done. I know it, but sometimes I have to remind myself.
Cain is now running in second place in Florida now that his support surged nearly 19 percentage points after last months Republican Party of Floridas Presidency 5 debate and straw poll, according to a survey of likely Florida voters conducted by Gainesville-based War Room Logistics, which typically polls for Republicans.
Meantime, Perrys support plummeted nearly 16 percentage points.
Perry had been tied as a Florida frontrunner with Mitt Romney at about 25 percent on Sept. 20, dropped to third/fourth place with 9 percent of the vote where hes statistically tied with Newt Gingrich (10 percent).
Apart from Romney, who trails Obama by five, everyone else in the field gets crushed by The One head to head. (O leads Perry 53/36.)
**snip**
I think Perrys already lost the mystique that excited grassroots conservatives when he first announced. Everyone knew he was vulnerable on immigration and wasnt a world-class debater, but he had that gold-plated jobs record and was undefeated after 10 years of Texas political gunfights. I figured hed be so vastly superior to Romney as a retail politician that even if he took some lumps about the border, hed mash Mitt up on RomneyCare and flip-flopping and would lead comfortably by now. That is to say, I thought voters would be able to support Perry as Perry and not merely as Not Romney. Now I wonder.

Don’t start bragging or counting your chickens just yet. There are massive amounts of eggs hiding in the straw, yet to be hatched in regards to the Perry campaign. He will retain a share of the “front runner” status and has the funds to back it up.
You can still dream though.
Palin isn’t running. My guess is that she’s done her own polling for months, and it hasn’t budged, especially among women and independents.

Herman Cains Campaign: Weve Had Best Fundraising Ever In Last 48 Hours

Of course, you can never have too much money in a campaign for president. But it looks like Cain is doing pretty well. Hope he makes lots and lots from his book.
Karl Rove asked Rick Perry personally to leave the Democrat Party and join the Republican Party.
I call bull$hit on that one.
Right, which is why he is suddenly stopping his campaign to promote his book. He must have the nomination in the bag to make a move like that......You think?
Cain has become a big pain in the *** . Not ready for the big show by any stretch of the imagination . Flip flop back flip back pedal Herm ...
What do you base that on? I don’t think Romney will be the nominee. I know I won’t be voting for him - ever.
I’ve wondered how the Bush clan views this whole “painted rock” business...

Any other “brilliant” assumptions?
What a silly thing to say. No one has the nomination in the bag at this point. That’s why we have primaries. Cain is getting a lot of free publicity. He is also raising a lot of money. He is rising while others are declining. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
I did as well and didn’t see it as reverse-racism. He never said anything derogatory about the white race. He spoke about “insensitivity” and didn’t understand the facts of Perry’s involvement with the property. I wasn’t happy about that, but it’s really not that big a deal (except to those who want to make it so).
Now, can we go on from here?
You get this from a Ron Paul website and promote it as fact? Get a life. And learn how to post a complete link.
This IS Herman Cain - Fox and Friends - 10-4-11
From the interview:
George Lopez: “Herman Cain is darker on the outside than Obama, but he’s whiter inside.”
Cain’s response? “He’s right. I am darker on the outside. But inside I’m red, white, and blue.”

1st and 2nd in our West Virginia poll: Cain and Newt. Just when you think the GOP race couldn’t get any weirder...

1st and 2nd in Nebraska: Cain and Gingrich. Just like WV. GOP race has always been wide open, it has NEVER been this wide open.

In North Carolina Cain leads with Gingrich tied for 2nd. So Cain led all 3 states polls we did over the weekend
He is REAL like Trump was REAL. No substance. Just the latest buzz word. After Cain takes the next month off to make money, his campaign will be permanently over.
ROFL—quoting Ron Paul’s website to bolster your fabricated story is lame. We are not as gullible as you are desperate.
Of course you don't provide a source for this announcement, because he never made such an announcement. Meanwhile, he does have a book coming out which is his election blueprint, such as the books that both Romney and Perry have released and are constantly referring to in their debates and public appearances.
Why yes he DOES have a book out! This is not news - I posted on the Georgia Freeper list the other day that the kick off was in Milton, GA and Dekalb, GA on Sunday.
He is not leaving the campaign trail - he is speaking at every stop and using it as a way to get his name out there :-D
