I don't know but I wonder if this is the result of cutting into necessary muscle. They seem not to be able to manage their infrastructure. I'm afraid things are going to start falling apart.

I am at BoA because of my business accounts and lines of credit. I think they stink on ice, but when I run around cashing rent checks at other banks like Wells Fargo and the like, they suck just as much. I have talked to people using other banks and they say they have all types of issue too. The grass is always greener. The main problem with the banks is all the new regulations. Dodd Frank needs to be repealed.

I'm at Chase now.. Much better online Bill pay system then BOA. They take the money out a week before the payment is sent to the payee and the check is covered. BOA never did that.

But for the fee, I'm giving them a break. This is the fault of Dodd - Frank.. Chase will be charging a fee next..

Good luck to you.

My family has gone elsewhere.

The only thing left is an investment property mortgage which will be paid off in July 2012.

They unfortunately own our mortgage but we have a great rate and I’m not inclined to refi as it is only a few years shy of being paid off.

We need to get the politicians’ noses out of business so banks can run things the way they see fit. Dodd-Frank is responsible for the debit card fiasco.

My small business accounts are with a local bank, so are my personal accounts and CD’s. Three different banks and no problems.

"take all your money out and go somewhere else"

You'd still advise that people pay back, in full, any money BOA lent them, right?

I have also treated very well by BoA. I have had checking and credit cards there. They are always polite and serve me very quickly. When I traveled to China a few years ago I also got free ATM use when I used China Construction Bank ATMs. No currency exchange fees either.

It ain’t the regulations that make the banks suck. They do that on their own. You’re right that all the big banks suck also.

I do accounting work part time for several small businesses...I have experienced almost every bank, they are all the same. The only way you will get better treatment, is to regularly walk inside the bank and chit chat, make friendly with the manager, etc. Many times I can take issues to the manager that would otherwise not get resolved. That’s the only good advice I have about banks. Washington Mutual was the WORST, not sure if they’ve gotten any better after being gobbled up by Chase.

Hurray for the bank haters and Kumbaya, as they are on the Left and Right, it turns out.

(Maybe we can add to that that banks are owned by Jews, the Rotschilds and Rockefellers?)

I’m keeping my money at the BofA, just to spite you!

“What is there that a credit union cannot do for you and your business ???”

Just don’t EVER borrow money from them. They come after you for deficiency judgements like ANIMALS if you default. Big banks are much more easy-going about it.
