Hank Williams, Jr., the voice famous for asking millions of football fans whether theyre ready for some football, has been pulled from tonights broadcast of Monday Night Football over a comment he made on Fox News this morning.
Williams, who sings the lead-in song to the game each week, criticized the president for his golf summit with House Speaker John Boehner this summer.
It would be like Hitler playing golf with (Israeli leader) Benjamin Netanyahu, Williams told Fox & Friends.
USA Today, among others, picked up the quote, speculating on whether the comparison would get Williams booted from the broadcast .

Well, it was a bad analogy any who.
More like Netanyahu playing golf with Arafat.

SO much for FREE SPEECH. And sports are controlled as a big money-making scheme. So Who’s controlling ESPN?

Put MNF back on the network. We can do without a reality show on Monday night.

I can't imagine anyone who answers to "Bocephus" would give a rat's ass about ESPN anyway. I'm sure the checks were nice while they were coming.
And the lawsuit, too; that oughta be a hoot.

Entertainers who engage in political commentary must be willing to deal with the consequences.
To: Nachum
Are they going to yank idiots like Kenny Maine for making violent statements about Palin? ESPN has a massive double standard and punishes anyone who is critical of Obama.

I listened to the quote. I don’t think he compared Obama to Hitler anymore than he compared Boehner to Netanyahu. In fact, it could be the other way around. Who knows?
