Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Sunday the Republican presidential contenders should've stopped the crowd at a recent GOP debate from booing a gay soldier.
McCain, certainly no stranger to presidential debates, added that in the heat of the moment, candidates often have a tough time reacting.
"I do," McCain said on CBS's "Face the Nation," when asked if the candidates should've stopped the reaction. "But a lot of times, when youre in a debate, youre thinking about what youre going to say, what the question is going to be. Its hard to react sometimes. But Im sure
I would bet that every Republican on that stage did not agree with that kind of behavior."
Sounded like two people, McNuts! IMHO, they booed because the DADT was being shoved down their throats! When will McNuts go away?
Yeah, that sucks big time. I certainly have no desire to support facebook anything.
Remember, facebook is like the Hotel California.
You can post on Facebook, just make sure you don’t do or say anything political. Never click a “like” button on any political comment just keep it to the inter-family and hobby threads.
Thanks again to the Arizona Republicans who renominated McCain in 2010. May you be overrun by illegal aliens.
I actually watched the debate.
It was one or two people at the most, and they booed the guy after he was nearly done with his statement. So, they booed him because of what he had to say, and not because he was gay or a gay service member. But that is all it takes for left to label the entire Republican party and everyone in it.
There is just no hope for this country.
The booing was maybe two people in 6,000.
If I had been on stage and able to hear the boo (Santorum claims he couldn't hear it), I'd have commented. It wasn't helpful and I knew immediately it would leave a bad impression.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was a set-up to make Republicans look bad.
queers are a tiny part of the population. They ingest feces during the course of what they call “sex”. Anyone that does that seems booable to me. How odd it is that the homosexuals have pushed society to the point that the discussion is about how homos feel and not what they do....
Very well stated.I’d like to share that with a few people if you don’t mind.
This is the same senile old fool who threw a tantrum when the guy announcing him at a campaign rally referred to “Barak Hussein Obama”. He belongs in a nursing home.
Like all career politicians, he'll go away when he assumes room temperature.
As always... FUJM
I'm at that point.
