I'll rspond to your second post here. Are you really looking to create some sort of cultural Armagedon? These people who belong to unions have reasons to do so, some good some bad. It's easy to see the bad now as state and local govts lurch toward insolvency because of union compensation. It's also easy to forget the past.I'm sure you just enjoyed your weekend.If you did, thank the unions of years ago. Workers in RtW states do well, but companies who set up shop there also know not to create a wide gulf between what they pay and the compensation to union members at different companies. The Koch brothers, despite the insane leftist propaganda, actually have good relations with the unions that represent their many employees. Your hatred of all things union is as idealogical as the hatred of Wall Street shown in NYC by those demonstrators, and just as grounded in reality. Perhaps your goal for union leaders is the same as Rosanne Barr's goal for corporate heads (pun intended).

But seriously, do you believe that the teacher who sits in the same pew as you on Sunday is the evil marxist agent seeking to destroy America? Is the Verizon worker who installs your FIOS some creative anarchist. The guy who installed mine was a two hitch Marine who served in a mechanized recon platoon in Desert Storm who complained that kids today, including his own, have little understanding of work and less inclination to learn. If your answer is yes thenyou're right we have little to talk about, but if ,and this is my opinion,you and those who express similar ideas refuse to vote for a Romney or a Christie next November because they fail your tests, you will condemn 300 million Americans to being witnesses of the ruination of the country.
