Because they realize that Romney is not cutting it so they are sending in the second string. Murdoch has been proping up Romney for months, that debate was a set up to destroy Perry (look at the soft ball questions, they allowed him to talk way after the bell rang, and everyone on the stage plus the moderators piled on Perry). They wounded Perry, but they didn't knock him out. I'm stunned at how many here called him RINO.

Perry is not a smooth talker, Christie is. I know people here love Cain, but the ability of him to survive depends on the quarter report that will come out on the candidates by the 15th of October. It's not fair, but it's real. If you can't convince the big money contributors that you can go all the way, how would you convince the world leaders to go with your proposals. Smooth talking is not enough, you have to have programs, plans, a track record and the ability to swim with the sharks and survive.

I watched that debate very carefully three times, and Perry definitely was his own worst enemy. If the guy can’t think on his feet he is no different than the tall skinny guy in the WH. No thank you.

I agree that Mr. Cain will need the financial support of the moneyed crowd, the “old” moneyed crowd that runs the shadow government. But Perry won’t get it either. I am concerned that it is probably that element who are urging Christie to run. There may be a good position for Christie in a Cain administration, but Chri8stie is not presidential material either.

Reading “Family of Secrets” is bone chilling.
