I watched that debate very carefully three times, and Perry definitely was his own worst enemy. If the guy can’t think on his feet he is no different than the tall skinny guy in the WH. No thank you.

I agree that Mr. Cain will need the financial support of the moneyed crowd, the “old” moneyed crowd that runs the shadow government. But Perry won’t get it either. I am concerned that it is probably that element who are urging Christie to run. There may be a good position for Christie in a Cain administration, but Chri8stie is not presidential material either.

Reading “Family of Secrets” is bone chilling.

When Perry had the bad debate (2 in a row) I thought about backing Cain. But then I thought about 4 things.

1. He has recently been a talk radio host (so yeah, he's quite good at talking)
2. He never went against Romney even once, and then I found out he supported Romney in the primary in 2008 and said he could back Romney this time but not Perry (??????????????)
3. He will never be able to raise enough money to go against Barack Obama
4. We already have someone in office with no political experience and track record and that didn't work out real well.

Remember, to most in the country Obama sounded really good, said all the right things in all the right ways and it's been a disaster. The chances of the country doing that again are slim and none. Will they vote Obama? No, they'll stay home.
