A Phoenix middle school teacher has been sentenced to 20 years in prison stemming from the sexual assault of her 14-year-old student.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Randall Warner handed down the sentence to 52-year-old Rosanna Brown on Tuesday.
Brown pleaded guilty to sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of attempted child molestation in the case.
Brown taught seventh- and eighth-grade English at Ed Pastor Elementary School in Phoenix. She had been a teacher for 28 years but had only been teaching at Ed Pastor for a short time.
Police say that Brown lured her teenage student to a Tempe hotel through text messages and had sex with him there in 2009.
When the boy left the hotel room, police say he called his mother and said Brown had assaulted him.

LOL!!!!!
They get stunned, like an inexperienced girl who is finding herself in that situation. Boys are drilled not to be violent and aggressive - especially to a woman and teacher. I was taught to avoid and to fight a rapist by my dad but most girls I hung out with would not have known what to do.
Boys are not taught to associate sex with agression and violence in relation to themselves the way girls are. But now that adults into sexualizing kids and focusing on them as an object of their perversions, especially boys with the homo thing, boys have to be warned about sexual aggression from peers and adults like good parents do with girls.
I’m not talking about violence or aggression. I’m saying I don’t really get why he went ahead with the act even when he realized that whoever he was grappling with in the dark was not at all who he thought. At that point, he didn’t realize it was his teacher. He just knew it wasn’t the cute cheerleader. So he went ahead and did it anyway... THEN he calls mom. Hm. I just don’t really understand, but... whatever.
They didn’t even need to conduct a trial. Just pass her picture to the jury and let them vote.
So why did he go to a hotel room if he wasn’t willing? This doesn’t pass the smell test.
:)
