Thanks for the ping. It’s not as if Axelrod was coy about it. He said reelecting Obama would be a “titantic” struggle. A lot of Rats are contemplating the fate of the Titanic and disembarking while they still can. Axelrod gets the prize for the worst possible word choice—evoking, as he did, the delectable image of the entire Dem hitting the Nov ‘12 iceberg and sinking like a rock through water.
