Gov. Perry asks for drones and technology, and more boots on the U.S. Mexican border. Meanwhile Texas Rangers are patrolling the U.S. Mexican border (1250 miles) the best they can -- salaries paid by the citizens of Texas. The International border with Mexico is a Federal responsibility but they refuse to do their sworn duty. Instead we find out the U.S. Federal Government bought and GAVE guns to Mexican drug cartels.
Jaime Zapata, a U.S. Special (ICE) Agent from Texas who was investigating human trafficking (required to be unarmed in Mexico -- so the U.S. knew he was a sitting target) was murdered in Mexico (information coming out points to many more murders and crimes tied to the transfer of these guns to Mexican criminals). And Gov. Perry is the headline.
perry and greta in helicopter
Gov. Rick Perry states that fencing in urban areas is effective but drones and Intel is needed for the rest of the border. His written and personal requests for the U.S. government to seal the border is ignored by the Obama administration and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and instead is sent a few extra people to sit behind desks.
Rick Perry knows (states) that a Conservative Ascendancy is what we must work for in order to turn back the social welfare, dependency path we're on -- that is dragging the country down. So instead of driving people who are conservatives by nature into the Democratic Party arms, where they will learn to be dependents of the state and grow the progressive voting army, we need to learn how to campaign for their votes.
If they can keep conservatives fighting and in angry camps defending their conservative candidate, the other side always wins (Hugo Chavez and Venezuela politics is a good example) and as this same process occurs over and over again, the many conservative factions become ever more isolated from each other and that ensures that liberals can gain increasing control until they have so much control it doesn't matter what conservatives think anymore.

Rick Perry's Intriguing Idea for Bi-National Health Insurance
Contrary to Sen. Santorums impression, the idea here was to explore the possibility of allowing private insurers to cover health services provided in either Texas or Mexico. It was an attempt at studying the deregulation of the provision of health insurance by private entities.
By making it easier for illegal immigrants to stay here?
Hey RIck!
Which American companies are suppose to hire your college educated ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS?
Stop giving the illegals benefits, Ricky. That is the best thing we can do.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

good grief, this issue is killing him.
He either needs to change the subject, or start attacking the others for where they are weak on the subject. Something, anything but what he has been doing.
This is going to destroy him, if he doesn’t get a handle on it.
That coyote that Perry shot would still be alive if he had been driving a van full of wet Me-hee-cans.
By the way, what does that work out to per student? What is 400 million dollars divided by 16,000 illegal students?
I don’t think you’ve dug a deep enough hole for yourself there, Rick.
Keep digging. hahahahahaha
One of the few tools that states are allowed to use is E-Verify, but Perry doesnt like it. It would put too many of his followers out of a job.
Perry touted all the jobs Texas has created even though 81 percent of the jobs created since 2007 in Texas have gone to immigrants who arrived here since 2007. Ninety-three percent of these immigrants arent citizens and an estimated 50 percent are illegal aliens while the percentage of Americans in Texas holding jobs fell from 71 percent in 2007 to 67 percent in 2011.
I'd suggest you people get cracking!
The Dream Act has become his Tar Baby.
He has put himself into a corner and every word he utters on the issue comes across as a self serving attempt at distracting attention from his position on the Dream Act.
Perry may be the strongest Governor on other aspects of the illegal alien issue but his defense of the Dream Act sucks all the air out of the room whenever the topic is breached.
He is singing to the choir every time he tries to defend his position - The only people who hear his words are Perry himself and those who already support him.
.
Perry’s Achilles heel is the fact that he’s great when he’s on the offensive but he doesn’t do defense very well. That could be his undoing unless he figures out how to improve.
The problem is that no one will let Perry change the subject and get on to other issues. This can be both good and bad. Good, if the continuing harping on the subject will allow the complete truth to come to light, including Perry’s extreme efforts to close the border with NO help from the Feds. Bad, if everyone follows the media and republican establishment blindly and refuse to do their on investigation into Perry’s stance and actual laid-out plan step by step on how to secure the border (yes, contrary to popular belief, he does have a very exact plan that makes sense).
Hogwash.
“Forced his hand”? Forced him to give US taxpayer monies to illegal aliens???
The man is a LIAR as much as Obama!
This whole “no one is going to deport them” thing is really just a red herring. The illegals are here because there is incentive to be here. Take away the free medical, welfare, free or subsidized education, &/or a place to work, & they will SELF DEPORT as we’ve seen partially in Arizona after their changes.
There’s no need to “round them all up”. They’ll do it themselves for the better part if the incentives are taken away.
This is apparently been a tough concept for Perry & some here to grasp. It’s really not that complicated.
