It’s war, no holds barred. Kill the bastards before they kill more of us. How is that so hard to understand?
We are at war with Al Qaeda and all similar violent jihadist groups anywhere we can find them.
It’s not a question of “war with Yemen” — it is war initiated against us by a vast and amorphous set of jihadists. They don’t wear uniforms and announce themselves as traditional armies. They are our mortal enemies and it’s a fight to the death.
The fact that it doesn’t fit into traditional nation state models makes it trickier to conduct, with various judgment calls to be made about appropriate targets etc, but it does not alter the basic nature of WAR which is that we kill as many of these scumbags as possible before they kill more of us.
Well then God Bless 0bama for changing the military Rule of Engagement and disregarding the Conventions and Rule of Law.
0bama is our savior and hero to the nation. And a much better war President that GWB ever was.
