Darn it, the military is about winning wars and killing enemies, not about personal self-expression or making various special interest groups feel better about themselves.

Personally I think this is an attempt to drive conservative Americans out of the armed forces. You know, the ones who understand that their duty does not include targeting the American population.

Zero is about destroying the military--he knows what the repeal of DADT means---he is creating his Brownshirts.

It remains characteristic of the Germans, that they, outwardly the most brutally masculine of all European peoples, are the most homosexual nation on earth.

Oh, come-on! That’s so Cold War. [/s]

Honestly, the Left won’t rest until our Armed Forces are in tatters. In 20 years (or less), you’ll see sexual and/or political commisars (a new career field). Those who join to patriotically serve will be persecuted for the first sign of religious or non-PC leanings and sent to “Tolerance” camp.

The military, being a microcosm of the cross section of American society, has been used as a political petrie dish for a long time.

Just as they complete the wreckage into which they've made the country's public school system, the libs believe the military is nothing more than the new laboratory for social experimentation.

The left doesn't give two sh*ts about deterrence or national security. If they knew their perverted lives could be left intact, they'd openly welcome a takeover by a foreign regime or radical islamists.

There, fixed it.

This is obviously ridiculous, but clearly not surprising. What I find interesting is that you can be excluded from participating in the military because of physical/health criteria - the obvious reasoning being that you won’t be able to perform adequately in combat and thus become a liability on the battlefield.

Why isn’t the same reasoning applicable to those who would at the very least be a distraction to their fellow soldiers and thus potentially a liability?

(Yes, I know the politically correct answer).
