Gov. Rick Perry of Texas has built a political career running against Washington, and no agency more symbolizes what he considers the meddlesome and economy-choking evils of the federal government than the Environmental Protection Agency.
Mr. Perrys conservative views on business costs, states rights, job creation, energy policy and global competitiveness the core of his governing philosophy are illuminated most vividly in his clashes with the E.P.A. over issues like pesticide regulation and global warming.
From his earliest days as head of the Texas Department of Agriculture to his current campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, he has struck a consistent anti-regulatory chord.

This seals it. Rick Perry is far too conservative, When we can double count his sins and halve Romney’s we can comfortably shaft ourselves. Let’s vote instead for the socialist whose boat is being lifted as we all harrumph over one state legislature, out of thirteen, okaying instate tuition to instate illegals waiting for and applying for citizenship. Makes sense to me. /s
Now, back to harrumphing and energizing over third tier candidates. GAD. For certain we deserve the governmnet we are about to get. IMO.
BUMP TO THE TOP KUDOS.
Amen.
Boooo hoooo! I choose my candidate purely on emotions...and Perry hurt my feelings.
Long live Mitt Romney!!!!!

Dropped a few bucks to Perry a half hour ago. Time to get after this thing.
Of course, he isn't calling it that...ends 9/30/2011. He's also not trying to raise a huge sum either like Scott Brown did.
While recognizing and griping about Perry’s RINO ways; please know that I will vote for him or any conservative or almost conservative!
Maybe it would be better to not have any Republican debates or advertising of any kind; just have a stealth primary and the winner becomes our nominee and on to the real contest.
LOL! He should of called them “worthless” too.
Personally, I wish Perry would have called them brainless.
Maybe he’s saving that for the next debate? I mean, he’s still got further he can drop.
I will consider it a small miracle if he can get through a debate without sounding as bad as he has in the first three.

Love your tag line and your attitude!
That’s why I don’t call Perry a RINO. Hit-and-miss conservative maybe. Some things he sucks on, some things he’s great on. He’s better than Romney, seems to be better than Christie, definitely better than Huntsman. If he gets it I’ll vote for him.
Romney - not so much.
LOL!
Check out what he has and is doing on the border Texas Rangers Recon Teams Perry is the only one that has had the type of hands on experience in securing the border of Texas and Mexico. He is the only one running that has a clue how horrible the border situation is. He is the only one who is running that understands how to lock down that border. The others talk a good talk, but that is only talk. The actions Perry has performed out weigh their political rherotic. Perry is outstanding when in moves into the double down.
“I know you aren’t from Texas. IF you were you’d grasp the Rick Perry we know.”
Oh. I wasn’t aware of that. Does he frequently attack those whose votes he needs, or is that a new thing with him?
I’m amazed by those who claim to be insulted, but I shouldn’t be. I guess it has something to do with the influence of the liberal agenda in our schools and media. Speech codes, politically correct language, hate speech, it’s all liberal manipulation meant to stifle free expression, and it’s apparently working. Thankfully there are still Americans who are made of stronger stuff than members of the easily insulted generation.
I’ll tell you how I look at the nomination process. It’s like you have a job opening. The announcement of a candidate is thier application. The rest is the interview.
If a prospective employee of mine was to spend his or her time calling me a bigot in an initial interview (debate), but somehow miracuously got another interview (last debate) where they proceeded to call me heartless....well you’ll have to forgive me if that prospective employee moves quite a bit down my list.
No, I am going to look around at the rest of the applicants and find someone (Cain) that is just as good a fit in my business but does NOT go out of their way to personally insult me.
Now, should Perry learn how to speak without sounding like George W Bush on a bender, and without insulting the very people whose support he needs, he very well could end up the nominee. If he is the nominee, he will receive my vote, my money and my time.
He will NOT receive any of those in the primary, as I am positive that he does not want the primary vote of a heartless bigot.
