MASSACRE IN MEXICO

MEXICO CITY – The scene was shocking. Masked gunmen blocked a busy road in the once-quiet port city of Veracruz, abandoning two trucks with 35 bodies inside, near a big shopping center. It was Tuesday at 5 p.m., broad daylight.
People on the streets watched the corpses being left at an underpass. Some of the victims had their hands tied and showed signs of having been tortured. The picture could have been extracted from a horror movie.
According to Veracruz state Attorney General, Reynaldo Escobar, 23 of the victims were men and 12 were women. "We have never seen a situation like this before," said Escobar...

I would almost support this administration and NATO bombing the types who would do this so Mexico could get control of their own country. Obviously, money isn’t doing it. That WOULD be in the interest of national security. Seal the border.
So what did these (and all the others that have been killed) do to the drug cartels to upset them? Are they just picking people at random?

I don't know what percentage applies, but the Mexican crime cartels get a lot of their money from kidnappings.
I would also guess that some of these would be friends/family of uncooperative politicians/police.
I speak Mexican and can’t make heads or tails of the sign.
