Three September debates have shaken-up the race for the Republican presidential nomination. Herman Cain has jumped into the top tier. Rick Perrys stumbled. Mitt Romneys holding steady.
And Michele Bachmann is hitting bottom. Thats according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday.
The new poll found Cains support has nearly tripled among GOP primary voters to 17 percent.
Thats up from 6 percent before this months debates, and puts him in what is essentially a three-way tie with Perry and Romney.

Ya Know...all I would like to see is Cain and Obama in debate and they ask Cain what his qualifications are. Then Cain can demand that Obastard show his qualifications I.E. College records and former work performances. HA! What a hoot that’d be.
“He can win. I sent him some moolah today”.
Me too, Momo.
He needs to increase his war chest, even if some of us can only send a little.
post debate vs. pre debate
Perry down 4.5 or more (2/3 of CNN was pre debate so likely more)
Romney unchanged or up about .4
Gingrich up 2.25, Cain up 6.5, Paul down 1.25, Bachmann down 4.5, Santorum up , and Huntsman up 1.25.
Cain answered the veep question with Newt. I see them pairing up, could be impressive.
Looks like Cain and Perry battling for 2nd place, while Romney remains the frontrunner.
I am very near to switching my support to Cain. Perry has to show he can put forth a coherent defense of his positions. I wasn’t expecting Perry to be a Cicero, but I was expecting better than he’s shown so far.
Still have some minor reservations about Cain’s 2nd Amendment position, but I’m not too worried about it.
“Ill be very happy when Cain is solidly in the #1 spot.”
Me, too. Actually, make that #1 spot be the Oval Office.
Herman Cain for President!
9% sales tax means illegals, the 50% who don’t pay income tax, and BMW drivers in Section 8 housing all pay also.
Turns them into taxPAYERS. No more free ride.
“Debates dont matter!”
Yep, and if you support anyone but their illegal-lovin’ candidate, you want Romney to win.
Right on! Lets go Cain.
(cue naysayers who will say this is still just another fluke)
So will I, and it is coming!
As a Cain supporter I’d like to thank you for at least taking the time to read the plan before rejecting it.
Yep, and if you support anyone but their illegal-lovin candidate, you want Romney to win.

Yes that’s their new talking point! Saw it a bunch of times today.
I did, in depth. I wouldn’t have commented on it if I hadn’t.
I was gone all day. I pretty much just guessed. It’s par for the course with anyone that gets too attached emotionally to any candidate.
I will never support any kind of national sales tax as long as the income tax still exists. That would be a nightmare.
I should add, but I still support Cain.
Agreed. We’d be paying 20-20-20 before long.
Agreed. Wed be paying 20-20-20 before long.
Not much different than the Fair Tax, which Cain has stated is his end goal. If the Fair Tax were to start at 18% it would become 20%, then 22%, then 35%, then 38% - the ‘Rats would demagogue it with something like, “We’re broke and it is all because of the Fair Tax - we need to get it back to xx%, and the middle class and poor shouldn’t have to pay the same rate as millionaires and billionaires .....
A good start would be the end of baseline budgeting and throw in mandatory balanced budgets ....... fat chance ......
I like Cain... he is a positive force for Republicans... Cain is not my favorite compared to what could be... But GOOD FOR HIM... The Straw votes for Cain and the Poll votes for Cain are as much Protest Votes against the Republican Establishment support for Romney and against the media hype for Perry... not just a vote for Cain... Conservatives are FED UP with the CRAP from the Republican Establishment and the Leftist Media.
Bottom line - No Republican Presidential Candidate will be nominated via Republican Primary Elections unless CONSERVATIVES APPROVE by vote... So Dream On Pretend Conservatives like Perry, Romney, Christie and others
