He said Mr. Obama made “a series of incredibly challenging decisions” to solve those problems.

and failed

You know he hurt them if they had to respond that fast.

Christie’s slam dunk posterized them. :)

I’ll tell you what. I’m a die hard Palin supporter but if Christie somehow got the nomination Obama’s so done. I said IF he got the nomination, that would be the tough part for him. If you’re the GOP nominee and you can pull in some of the northeast like NJ or NY or even a couple of smaller ones it’s over.

Lame comeback. The equivalent of ‘Oh yeah????”

Talk about tone deaf—this White House has apparently decided that the American people haven’t heard enough bitching, whining and lecturing from the know-nothings in charge. Yeah, keep doing that.

The GOP does not need another sh’t slinger as much as it needs a solution thinker. The nation needs solutions. Obama promised change which was a waste in terms of solutions. The country does not need another Obama running on empty.

"In the past two and a half years that Barack Obama has been president, it has been one of the most substantial periods in our history."

Mr. Carney, I'm from Texas and I know bull ca-ca when I hear it. And you, Mr. Carney, are full of bull ca-ca.

I was a big fan of Christie, IN NEW JERSEY, talking down a smarmy teacher at a town hall, etc.

But I listen to this speech at Reagan’s Library and he scares me the way Obama did with his Greek columns.

“Leadership and compromise” are NOT necessarily good! Obamacare was “leadership” beyond what Hillary proposed and “compromise” between the leftists and the far-leftists!

“Action” is NOT what all Americans expect. As a conservative, I WANT **LESS** ACTION FROM GOVERNMENT!

It strikes me, and maybe some fans of this guy can help me see the light differently, but I think he’s got the meaning of Reagan potentially all wrong.

He focuses on Reagan’s “fairness” in acting decisively. Obama acted decisively on Obamacare, and decisively by standing behind Eric Holder, and decisively on shutting down drilling in the gulf...because he thinks it’s fair!

Reagan’s decisions were based on fairness, ok, but WITHOUT COMPROMISE on principles such as “government is not the solution!” Reagan never compromised this principle and said, “Wha-ell. Oh. Kay. Yes. Today voters want action, so it’s not really true that government is the problem. Government is part of the solution in a balance bipartisan nonbickering way so that we can DO something. Ah. Anything. Something.”

This is far, far, far away from what Christie is talking about here.

And the fact that so many ideologically thirsty and Reagan starved conservatives are lapping it up because they are desperate for someone, anyone to say anything flattering about what America once was....is just as scary as how Obama shepherded his liberal sheep to slaughter with the same kind of misleading rhetoric.

Dems immediately sense that Christie is the alpha male in the room and they lamely try to take back dominance.

“Presidential press secretary Jay Carney?”

He should change his title to be more accurate. Maybe something like:

Presidential Chief Propaganda Officer Jay Carney

The Obummer is incredibly thin-skinned. He’d be better off just ignoring such comments, rather than whining about them. It just makes him sound all wee-wee’d up.

What a perfectly blue-state criticism from Christie. Liberals wish Obama would only do and have done more.
