As the first comment on Fox observes, when GE/GM send manufacturing jobs to China, obama's union goons don't say a thing

But when Boeing want's to manufacture in the U.S.A., they try to close Boeing down.

West is completely accurate here

If he is not doing it on purpose, then he must be stupid.

I do not think there is a third option.

I doubt it unless every other leftist can be said to be intentionally destroying the economy but then I’m not privy to their motives.

After a bumpy beginning, I’ve grown to like West. He’s new to the field, but he’s got a future ahead of him. He may be blunt at times, but he’s honest, brave and passionate about his beliefs. I respect that.

Ford pulls its ad on bailouts

‘Didn’t take the money’ boast ruffles feathers

For the only Detroit automaker that “didn’t take the money” of the federal auto bailouts, Ford Motor Co. keeps paying a price for its comparative success and self-reliant turnaround.

Lots of my relatives get very pissed off when I say obama is doing this on purpose. And, of course, they continue to say that the republicans are causing all the problems.

It is so unfortunate Allen West betrayed his conservative ideals in voting to raise the debt ceiling. His words here ring a bit hollow given his culpability (along with the Rinos) for voting to send us further down the path of fiscal destruction. I thought he was different. I won’t go so far as to call him a full fledged hypocrite, but he seems to be talking one way and voting another of late. Talk is cheap, what is important is how one votes. That is my measure of the value of a congressman.

Obama would say he is not trying to destroy the economy, only make it more fair. Because some have made more money than others our economy is “unfair”.

Since it is impossible to make the economy “fair” with everyone having equal things, attempting to make it fair will destroy the economy.

I think he and his fellows really believe they are smart enough to pull it off, even though no one ever has in the history of the world.

So he is doing it intentionally but out of a delusional view of his own abilities. When it fails, as it will, he and his fellows will blame everyone else but they will never hold themselves responsible because they had good intentions but the whole country was selfish and didn’t sacrifice enough to bring about prosperity.

But whether he is doing it intentionally or he is incompetent hardly matters. The results are the same.

Allen West: “Obama Intentionally Killing the Economy”

Which is exactly WHY Rush said, “I hope he fails”, within two weeks of B.O.’s inauguration:

August 11, 2009

Kondracke, Krauthammer Afflicted with a Bad Case of DC Beltway-itis
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_081109/content/01125109.member.html

[huge snip]

CALLER: And one major asset that this Obama administration has given us is it’s shown the conservatives of the conservative movement who the true conservatives are in our party. Newt Gingrich rejecting your comment that you wanted Obama to fair, saying, “Ohhhh, we can’t have our president fail” and all that stuff, and Colin Powell coming out and rejecting you and all that stuff. This is the true liberal wing of the Republican Party at work. When Krauthammer says, “Oh, we can’t be offensive and we can’t protest” and all that stuff, this is the softy, the Fig Newton wing of the Republican Party. What’s your thought on that?

RUSH: Well, you’re talking about things other than Krauthammer and Mort Kondracke yesterday. When you talk about my comment “I hope he fails,” I wasn’t surprised I was out on a limb by myself on that. I mean, this was within, what, two weeks of his immaculation, and our party and people who want to be leaders in the party — forget the conservative movement.

The Republican Party and conservative movement are two different things. People in our party who have future political aspirations, “Oh, no, God, don’t say that! Of course we want the president to succeed,” and they said this out of fear. A historic president, first black president. Hoping the president fails, most people are going to think that means we hope the country fails and we can’t hope the country fails. It’s just fear. It was just cowardice.

I mean, Newt, I’ve heard him say now that he misread just how radical this man is and his agenda. But, look, that’s what being on the cutting edge of societal evolution is all about. It’s what being a pioneer is all about. It’s what being fearless is all about, and I think that all conservatives in this country don’t need any other examples — don’t need any new examples — of how our moderate liberal Republicans are.

Obama is doing anyting and everything he can to destroy the country. Deliberate and willful malfeasance. When are Americans going to take their country back from these monsters? Obama is just the frontman for the conspiracy bent on destroying America.

Which reflects a lower opinion of Obama: assuming that he is maliciously killing the economy, or assuming that he is killing the economy through monumental incompetence?

I compromise between the two and guess that Obama is both malicious and phenomenally incompetent, so that what we see is only moderately destructive because the community organizer is just not efficient enough to destroy the free world as quickly as he would like.
