JUNEAU, Alaska (AP)
Crown Publishers spokesman Stuart Applebaum says the company is confident the reporting in Joe McGinniss' book is "solid, reliable, and well-substantiated." Applebaum says Crown stands behind McGinniss and the book, "The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin."

In the end they will offer to settle....
Just how much is the only question...
That is what they are doing. They are trying to get the sales up, so they lie about not being concerned. Then, in the end, they will offer a huge settlement and everyone wins (at least that is their thinking).
I hope Ms. Palin takes them to court! Refuse the settlement and make them stand up in a court of law and say they were all lies! Don't just put egg on their face, shove it down their throats and up their obamas!

I think the purpose of this book and the timing of its release are to smear Sarah and to keep these rumors alive until the election. A lawsuit will guarantee that it stays in the news that long. The Left seems to fear her that much!
However, the lies are such an overreach the whole gambit may backfire on them.
