Thanks for the heads up. I would hate to get zotted, but I'm still a Perry supporter. I don't see anyone else in the field with executive experience that is Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, anti-obamacare, pro-defense, has served in the military, and wants a smaller fed govt.
Perry also won the Maryland County Fair Straw Poll on Sept. 12, in what many might consider Romney country.
I know this is a hard concept. but would you have ICE go in arrest the kids and then send them onto a bus to a country they probaly barely know.
I think you energy might be better spent questioning WHY our troops are in Afganistan. Since Pakistan has attacked AGAINST American troops. But hey those billions going to Pakistan isn’t as important as getting those kids out of America.
I guess they don't have anything positive to do.
Thanks!
Those are two seperate issues. Some can agree to disagree over an issue and still support a candidate. The candidate calling people names and then expecting their vote is pretty cheeky. What to do with illegals and their children is a tough issue. Perry should have stuck to the topic and what he did or will do and why, he should not have started calling people names that he hopes will vote for him.
In discussing this with posters from Texas they had some interesting points. Among these points was putting up a fence cedes the Rio Grande to Mexico and they lose their water rights. I'm convinced that the solution lies at the employment and benefits level. The courts have ruled that we have to educate the children brought over, so probably the best way to stop the illegal immigration is at the employment level. IOW, demagnetize the magnet.
But like Rocky, he can get up and get back in the fight. And he can win this thing.
But he and only he can do it. He has to rest up before the debates...he has to work hard on the issues. He has to practice and get good...really good.
He can do it...but he has to show the country that he can.
I see this as an opportunity for him to show what he is made of. But only he can do it.
Go Rick.
Back in 2008, the earliest filing deadlines were in Utah (October 14), Florida (October 31), and Michigan (October 23). In New Hampshire, the filing deadline to appear on the ballot for the presidential primary is November 21. It looks like the window of opportunity is upon Sarah Palin.

Bump!
I used to live in Maryland. Maryland is a RAT state.
Getting an endorsement from MD Republicans is like getting an endorsement from NYC’s Mayor Bloomturd (R).
It’s certainly nothing his supporters should be broadcasting on a conservative site.
He also hasn’t called potential voters that may disagree with him on the issue names. That is a big plus for me. For that reason if they did have the same exact policy on the border issues Cain would still be ahead of Perry in my book.
I lived in Maryland for 5 years and was there to vote in Gov. Ehrlich. The state has tons of liberals but they have many good conservatives.
There is a lot to be encouraged about. He's been attacked by all sides and has not flip flopped on issues. His only weakness so far has been in the debates and once he gets his footing there he should start pulling away. Also, when it sinks in that Palin is not running he's going to look very attractive to the Palin backers.
Why all the talk about Christie if the rino's think they've beaten Perry back. They are recognizing Romney is not going to beat Perry.
Then the illegals will self deport.
You have shown yourself to be tireless and, when under attack, gracious. Refinement and dignity in action, you are.
Thx so much!
Then what exactly is he being condemned for?
FWIW.
Last week 21 S.Carolina legislators endorsed Perry for President. This included Sen. Larry Grooms who wrote the recently passed Arizona style immigration bill in South Carolina.
“I'm not voting for him because of what he called Jesus.”
“But he has freedom of speech.”
“And I have the right to vote.”
