You know...politics, when done right, is like a boxing match. Perry has taken some serious hits...maybe even a knock down.

But like Rocky, he can get up and get back in the fight. And he can win this thing.

But he and only he can do it. He has to rest up before the debates...he has to work hard on the issues. He has to practice and get good...really good.

He can do it...but he has to show the country that he can.

I see this as an opportunity for him to show what he is made of. But only he can do it.

Go Rick.

Rick Perry is not an instigator or a liar. He's honest. Perhaps that is what is hurting him. Unlike an attorney who sees things from a selfish and rotten position, Perry is truly an humble and genuine guy.

The smirks and grins he has in a debate are signs of surprise and humility. He doesn't go on the attack against his allies, and shows reservations when expected to do so.

He never mentioned the lady who died from cervical cancer. He met with her, took her riding on his motorcycle, and laid at her bedside before her death. But he never said anything to the media. Not even in Texas. This only recently came out to the open. Probably when ABC News was trying to smear him.

We need a real person in the White House. Rick Perry is our man. He's a real man, just like Reagan. And not as liberal on illegal immigration.
