Speaking to a Cary rotary club today, N.C. Gov. Bev Perdue suggested suspending Congressional elections for two years so that Congress can focus on economic recovery and not the next election. "I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover."
It might come to that. It might be to late for that.
A woman had been going to her plastic surgeon for years for touch ups on her face lift. After several years and several operations she showed up one day at the doctor's office and said there was a problem with a new growth of facial hair which formed a goatee on her chin.
"Dear lady", said the doctor, "your skin has been pulled tight so many times that it's not a goatee you've grown, that's your pubic hair."
We became a blue state in the last presidential election. That thrilled the dems so much that they are having their national convention in Charlotte next year.

Obama Desires Dictatorial Powers Like China’s President

According to the New York Times, President Obama believes it would be much easier to be the President of China. After all “no one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.” It’s good to hear that our President would prefer to be a Communist dictator who can imprison or murder opposition. Maybe Obama can call up Hu Jintao and ask him what the best method is for eliminating those pesky tea partiers. Maybe President Hu will offer recommendations for killing off Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hanity and Laura Ingraham. Or perhaps President Hu can give Obama pointers for shutting down mouthy news outlets like Fox News.
If the Democrats could have their way, the October Surprise would be this:
The Constitution and all elections are permenently abolished.The Democrat Party is now the U.S. Government. All of its decisions are law.
All property in the U.S. now belongs to the Democrat Party.
Anyone criticizing the Democrat Party or its officials--or SUSPECTED OF DOING SO--will be confined permanently to a concentration camp.
All concentration camp inmates will be subject to service for the Democrat Party/Government and/or its officials and/or their appointees on a permanent basis (in other words: will become slaves).
