The last several years I worked I reviewed a lot of job applications, all from high school graduates. It was a dismal experience.

The stats are even more revealing when broken down by combat arms MOS's versus support MOS's. Turns out the warriors are white, middle class and southern in large part while Hispancis are also overrepresented in combat arms. Blacks are underrepresented.

Another myth gone by the wayside.

And there is a strong correlation between economic success and IQ. The top test scores don’t come from the derelict nieghborhoods.

Perhaps not but those country boys sure could shoot. And that isn't to say the folks I'm talking about were inferior intellectually. But one guy definitely was and man he could shoot the lights out literally.:-}

Urban zip codes typically had lower scores than rural zip codes. Typically, but not always.
