Chris Christie say he has finally made a definitive decision, once and for all, not to run for president in 2012, sources close to the New Jersey governor told Fox News on Tuesday.
Despite the intensity that has heightened in recent days as the New Jersey governor prepares to deliver a speech Tuesday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, several people close to the governor insist he has not changed his mind to forego a presidential bid.
Christie is on tour, attending seven fundraisers in three states, which has fueled speculation that he could be preparing for a 2012 bid. And some people near the governor have been trying very hard -- however futilely, it would appear -- to convince him to get in the race, especially after last week's debate GOP showed the field is still open.

You see, she has done what every one of them have promised to do. She has had the opportunity, and delivered ... they have had the opportunity, and failed. With the exception of Ron Paul.
Sarah Palin and John Kasich would destroy the Bystander and his side kick.
At this very moment, I am un-inspired by Romney, Perry, or Bachmann. Perry's best showing was before he got in. Bachmann, I want to like here. Romney, not tuff enough to stand up like Gov. Christie. Right here, right now, we need someone who is going to attempt to stop the madness. I do not see Romney, or Perry doing that. They will paper over the madness with their own brand of madness.
I agree with you re: Romney and Perry but Palin is in single digits and would stay there. I do love Christie but believe he will not run till 2016 and will win then. I appreciate your belief in Palin but strongly disagree. And Bachman stands no chance either. I do like Cain but wonder how well he will do. One thing about Palin supporters is I do admire the fact they have the courage of their convictions.
Also, I cannot imagine why Palin does not have one advisor in her circle who cannot convince her to drop the “mean girl” persona. One has absolutley no credibility or substance when being mean. She would lose a debate with every single candidate running for the GOP now because of same. And one cannot expect to be elected to meet with world leaders as a mean girl and using words such as hopey changey and frickin’..why can someone not convince her the mean girl attitude has to go. I do not know if she is still on Fox but one would hope they could talk to her also. It is her hook I know but you cannot go far with that.
