Clearly there’s a masculinity deficit in this country.

But not to worry, women will compensate. They’ll get tattoos, become soldiers, be the breadwinners, etc.

And the effeminate fellows among us will find it attractive.

All the commentary directed at those attempting to raise awareness and not a single comment directed at what they are attempting to raise awareness about, sexual assaults on campus.

Kind of a shame.

Of course it’s outrageous. It was so designed. Have some of us forgotten what it’s like to be 20 years old and a bit over the top?

Frankly, as the father of a sophomore girl, I’d walk with these guys in support of their efforts. It might keep me from having to kill the punk who messes with my daughter. Very small price to pay.

Are you sure that's a picture of the event? What I saw on the news showed guys in regular guy clothes, but with heels on.

It was still a bit disturbing.

Even money says this started when a bunch of University of Alabama Phi Gamma Delta brothers were caught during the fraternity's bi-weekly stroll in cocktail dresses and heels.

"Really, officer, we're marching to speak out against sexual assault. Yeah. That's the ticket."

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

Besides being sin, these events accomplish nothing whatsoever. Any man who has enough ethics to respond to “Walk in her shoes” campaign, is ALREADY not a rapist. And real criminals are utterly unresponsive to this nonsense. So they pranced around in high heels for NOTHING.

Also... be it noted, there is NO LAW forcing women to wear high heels - and indeed they’d be healthier and sexier if they did NOT. It’s something they do to themselves, it didn’t come from us.

Not such a bad idea, BUT, as mom of boys, I would much rather the boys be courteous and chivalrous to ladies (including annoying sisters and cousins) every day instead of doing a one-time stunt.
